njs_special400 Posted May 1, 2009 Share Posted May 1, 2009 My son and I recently fixed up this bike and it runs great, but has trouble starting. The fuel system looks clean and choke circuit is not clogged, but it isn't getting fuel when choked. If you put a little fuel in one of the cylinders it starts right up and runs fine. YPVS TONE Posted May 1, 2009 Share Posted May 1, 2009 Has the bike been standing for anytime if so it could be the choke jet in the floatbowls could be blocked with varnish from old fuel. I've had loads of peeps say that and when they clean them with ultrasound all the crap gets dislodged from the carbs.
