Posted April 25, 200915 yr hi there I own a 1995 model Yamaha TRX 850...Japanese import to Australia....It has a speed limiter and limited to 180 km/hr...Has anyone know how to remove the limiter?...or could it be done...few mechanics up in Darwin/NT suggested that it can not be done....any ideas would be highly appreciated cheers Jack
April 25, 200915 yr i think these are restricted via the CDI, though i am not 100% sure. I think you will need to source a UK/european CDI and do a swap. ebay.co.uk, ebay.de etc. not cheap tho if it dont work
