April 23, 200915 yr Moderator does any 1 have a spare starter motor for a 2006 dt125re Before you go down the route of a new one, are you sure its the motor at fault, or does it have brushes that just might need replacing?

April 23, 200915 yr Author I dont know the bike, do you have to get it off to get to the brushes? yea right pain in the rear have to take fly wheel cover off then fly wheel its self then starter gear etc all those things to get off just so i can undo 1 bolt i think that it is rubbish design really

April 23, 200915 yr Author You could get them from yamaha or possibly give Electrex a call to see if they do them for your bike Here ...Paul wooooooooo sorted managed to pull a old motor apart and pinch the bushes out of it and luckly they fitted im over the moon now and on a plus side it starts better cheers for help paul
