thinking of getting a an off road bike, something of the four stroke variety, about 250 to 500cc,

not for any kind of competition just for fun,

does anyone have any tips.

or maybe a TY... but they two stroke...

At the top end of the scale you have these:

600cc , but air cooled and as light as a DRZ400, but more power!

in fact any of the TTR's are good off-road bikes, that you can cover lots of road miles on if needed.

what it comes down to is how much cash you have, and what you want it for ?

Certainly can't go wrong with an XT Gabby ......
