Posted April 21, 200915 yr I have recently bought a second hand original accessory Yamaha Top box & it is made by MBK. The base plate it requires looks like a Givi Mono Key plate but it will not fit on the Givi plate i have as the 2 "pins" that fix into the top box are too far apart. I have tried my local Yamaha dealer & sent a email to Yamaha but as yet have had no luck in finding a plate. I have searched the internet to try & find the company that made them MBK but can find nothing relating to top boxs. Can anyone throw any light on this??? Regards Steve

Regards Steve Hi Steve, Yamaha bought MBK (motobecane or mobylette as the French company was then called) in the early 80's and produced scooters (Neos/Areox) there and also Yamaha & MBK badged electric cycles .... google Yamaha PAS. So along with the Itallian engine manufacturer I would guess MBK to be a part of Yamaha europe so a search for Yamaha luggage or something of that sort may produce the result you need. Regards Jim
