Moderator Goff Posted April 16, 2009 Moderator Share Posted April 16, 2009 exactly the same. Dragstar is the european name for them - V-Star the american. My 650 had V Star onthe tank but was exactly the same as the dragstar

Cov_AL
There are a lot more toys and shiney things available from the states for the "V-star" than if you look for "Dragstar" often (well used to at least) works out cheaper to get stuff sent over the ocean than just up the road! gassed
cheers, yeah, I was looking at some accessories from chromeworld.com only difference between v star and dragstar is insurance i was quoted a third more for 1100 vstar than 1100 dragstar because they classed it as imported, typical england money grabbing people born out of wedlock
mits007
yeah, insurance companies stiff you on imports!.. I was about to buy a Honda Shadow Steed. It was a Jap import and even though the UK equivalent had a bigger engine, I was quoted over a half more!... Sounded bloody good though!... But - but but but!.. I'm so glad I waited and bought this baby!...
