I've got a 650 dragstar custom, is that the same as the 650 V-star custom?....

exactly the same.

Dragstar is the european name for them - V-Star the american. My 650 had V Star onthe tank but was exactly the same as the dragstar ;)

There are a lot more toys and shiney things available from the states for the "V-star" than if you look for "Dragstar"

often (well used to at least) works out cheaper to get stuff sent over the ocean than just up the road!

only difference between v star and dragstar is insurance i was quoted a third more for 1100 vstar than 1100 dragstar because they classed it as imported, typical england money grabbing people born out of wedlock

yeah, insurance companies stiff you on imports!.. I was about to buy a Honda Shadow Steed. It was a Jap import and even though the UK equivalent had a bigger engine, I was quoted over a half more!...

Sounded bloody good though!...

But - but but but!.. I'm so glad I waited and bought this baby!...
