Pete
The motor's really loosening up now....much smoother and more responsive. This week I'll get the oil and filter changed as it's now around 2800 miles. The Metzeler Tourances are scrubbed in....I can highly recommend them. All cleaned and polished (Predator system has really come up well)....and ready to rumble! 8) Here's a few shots I took today in the Elan Valley! Good nick you reckon? 8)

Pete
Some sort of metal monument......cos the picture was taken at the Elan Valley complex of Reservoirs and Dams. The bike was a late 80's Shitzuki...think it was a GSX750F...probably been dumped there!
XT Alan
I'll recognise you now. It looks good in black. The Elan Valley is a great biking place, Wales' answer to the Lake District: lovely wild scenery, quiet mountain roads, visitor centre (for coffee and cakes). From memory (I park next to it whenever I go there) the Green Thing is an old water pump. The valley has four dams and the water from the lakes keeps Birmingham afloat. The dams were built by the Birmingham Corporation. Alan

Pete
I'll recognise you as well Alan....cos I'm yet to see another XT in our part of the world. Do you find that your bike gets ignored by other bikers, but seems to attract the attention of non-bikers?
XT Alan
To be honest, I don't think that I've actually seen any bikers on the road since I got this bike (6 days ago). I've only been riding on back roads. So far I've done about 250 miles and reckon that A Road riding wouldn't be the best thing for slow varied speed running in. The places I've been - Cwm Rheidol, Nantymoch etc have been deserted. Help! This bike is making me a recluse! Alan
Pete
That Llangurig-Aberystwyth road is lethal on a Sunday isn't it? Bone headed Power Rangers acting like twats there....well, they act like twats everywhere TBH!
skyline
doubt it, wouldnt take much to do that, more like park up next to it to spit at it then kick it over
Pete
Help! This bike is making me a recluse! Alan Good job you sold that Gay Honda Alan....being reclusive would be the least of your worries! I always play fuck in David Jones's...cos the young boy on the parts counter keeps giving me Gay Honda carrier bags. I'm not sure he understands what I'm on about though! 8)

XT Alan
I've been reading about your frequent oil changes Pete. I also change my oil every 2000 miles. Your bike is polished to perfection. Mine are always the same. Could we be, in some way, related?
