Posted April 13, 200916 yr Ihavenoexperiencew Ihe manual calls for a 600 mile service to the tune of almost 800.00. It includes oil change w/filter, checking fluid levels, and sync carbs. Th e only part I may not be able to do myself is the carb sync. My question is though, if the bike is running fine does it really need to be done?
April 14, 200916 yr If it's still within warranty, then yes it probably does need to be done. Some people like to have the full service history, complete with dealer's stamps and all.
