Hi everyone. I just bought a 73 RT3 360 and I'm going to need some help finding a few parts my mechanic told me I might need. I am looking for a fuel tank, carburetor, rear swingarm bushings, tires, and possibly a new wiring harness. If anybody knows any places online or perhaps a shop that would carry these parts I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank You

Fuel Tank, E Bay

Carburator, E Bay or Sudco

Swing arm bushings, Yamaha Dealer

Tires, JC Whitney

Wiring Harness, E Bay or I can make you one.

Good luck, I love that bike. I have a NOS Luggage Rack for that bike.

Hi, if any of you guys are running a DT2 RT3 or a later twin shock DT 250 360 or 400 I would really appreciate it if you could measure up your swingarms pivot width and effective length and with the details of which model is in question, post the results on my question "twin shock swingarm".

That would be great!

Thanks.

usually for yams, its a whittled wooden dowel bashed down to lock inside the fork at its lowest point. Do a google search. also upturned bolt (don't know which size) welded to a rod.

A quick spin on a drill could turned the bolt before the inner rod span.

Do you still have that Luggage rack for the 1973 RT3 360?

You're seriously hoping that TWINSHOCK is going to reply?

He last visited the site in 2010 and his post about the luggage rack was in 2009.

Good luck with that one bud!
