piston bloke Posted April 9, 2009 Share Posted April 9, 2009 hi,yet another problem for an yam yx 600 radian.fuel tap works on vac system from carbs.the tap has no switch off position but constantly drips and fills the carbs up to the point of entering the air box and out the overflow.How is this supposed to work as the diaphram and spring and seal are all intact. Moderator Airhead Posted April 9, 2009 Moderator Share Posted April 9, 2009 Hi, make sure that the tap isnt left in 'Prime' position, also you carb fload needle on one of the carbs must be passing which allows this over filling to occur. if the tap is not in Prime position it is leaking, you can confirm this by removing the fuel feed pipe to the carbs.
