Snafusol
I have a 1983 XJ 750 Maxim. I screwed up the wires last year, they are now sparking out on the engine block. I have been pricing new coil packs, and cannot afford the 120/side they will cost. My question is, can I replace just the wires? Looks like they are part of the coil and does not come apart easily. If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks.

whitetrash
You can replace just the wires, NGK makes a splice kit that is used quite often on snowmobiles as they usually have the wire as part of the coil as well. I will see if I can find a link for you.
