Hi all

I am a newbie here and to bikes, I have been given an old engine so I can learn how to strip down and rebuild.

I would like to restore the engine ( if possible ) but as I dont know anything about engines I would like your help to Identify so that I can get a manual and source parts .

Below are some of the picures I have taken as will will see the engine is in a pretty bad shape, if the engine cant be rebuilt at least I will learn something from stripping it down.

according to this site its a DT 200 RB, 1991, engine code 3BN

so I'm not sure of the 124cc on the bore but 3mb00 is a TZR125 here

the bottom numbers are 1st gear, neutral, 2nd gear, etc etc

So does this mean I have parts from 2 different bike engines ???

(as I said I am a newbie to bikes)
