help!!

i got 2008 r6 and the oil light comes on for about 10 secs, goes out and comes on again for about a second and off again then stays off. she has got plenty of oil in her (little over half on dip stick) it seams intermitent it happened abuot 4-5 times never twice on same journey and not every trip.

any help please

cheers john.

Try adding a little more oil, obviously don`t over fill, when hard braking, accelerating or leaned hard over in corners, the oil level light may just flicker a couple of times.

It's an 08 bike.

Return to dealer.

Even an import has 2 year Warranty !!!!!!!!

the oil light has stopped comming on but i've taken it to dealers anyway, they say it could be a switch/electrical problem!

they say if it starts again they will sort it under warranty.
