Recently stript and re-built my bike did a bench test of the engine all was good, started first time but blew the fuse on the starter relay as soon as i connected the battery. even with nothing connected to the main loom such as switchs, voltage reg and so on the fuse still blows when i connect the battery. have checked all wires and connections all seem fine.

i havent got any ideas left please help thanx.

sounds like an earth problem ... but it would be good to know what modal the bike is !

Hi, sounds to me like youve poss bolted a supply straight to earth, or caught a supply wire when refitting engine.
