Hi

I have just bought a 2000 R6 with ART can on. Starts from cold without choke and runs rich at low revs when hot but picks up cleanly through the rest of the rev range. I have removed the carbs and checked choke operation which seems OK. No flooding of float chambers. changed plugs and air filter but I can't find any mention of the air screw settings in the service manual. Can anyone help with a standard setting to get me started.

In the Yamaha service data book i have it says 1 and 1/2 to 2 turns out from fully screwed in for the 1999 R6 . Tony.

Thanks for the info I will set the carbs up to the standard settings and see what happens.
