I hope someone may have a solution for a something that is more of a nuisance than a major problem.

After the theft and recovery of my Cat I had to join the ignition switch wires back together.

Subsequently I now find the bike will only start when the sidestand is raised even when she is in neutral.

I have been told it is probably the starter cut off relay under the seat.

In my other post I mentioned I am going to streetfight my bike and as I will probably strip her down completely to paint the frame and service the engine, I wondered if it is possible to modify the wiring so that it bypasses all the cutoffs and generally simplifys the wiring loom.
