I have a Thundercat which I have owned for 4 years and am happy with the performance.

The bodywork is pretty shabby and has had repair on top of repair so I have decided to go the Streetfighter route.

I am a bit confused regarding the induction system as there seem to be differing views regarding the effect on performance, i.e flat spots etc if you just remove all the gubbins from the front of the bike.

Can anyone clear up the question. can you just remove the chambers and tube work or will I have to alter the carb jets?

Also I will go with a headlight nose cone or traditional headlamp can anyone suggest the best way to tidy up the wiring so it isn't exposed.
