Posted March 19, 200916 yr I have a 650 Dragstar with vance and hines cruzer exhausts fitted. There's a small chrome plate that runs just below the downpipes to the 'fatter' part of the exhaust, that was held on with two jubilee clips and some welding. The plate came off whilst riding on the motorway! but does anyone know where i can get one, or something similar? is it a yamaha part or a vance and hines part? Many thanks Daz
March 19, 200916 yr Can you show us a pic of what you mean? I think what you're on about is a heat shield, and the presence of jubilee clips make me think it'd come off before... Why not make one yourself, it'd be nice and unique that way!

Why not make one yourself, it'd be nice and unique that way! if its just a heat sheild ,you can buy them from m&p direct or manufacture something suitable
