Posted March 16, 200915 yr Has anyone tried castor oil in fuel to get that tremendous 'R' smell (my speedway days). If so, how much did you use and did it work?
March 17, 200915 yr Used to do it on track bikes in me yoof! It's a teaspoon in a full tank. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH.........luverly smell. B-in-F
March 17, 200915 yr does this really work? I've heard of putting in small amounts Acetone helps improve things performance wise
March 18, 200915 yr I've still got an old gallon steel can of R40 in the garage. I used to put a capfull in the FZR1000 Genesis tank when going for a good blast. All the bikes i've had since then have been bikes that ive been scared of gumming the carbs up on. So the best part of a gallon is still in the garage.
March 19, 200915 yr I 'almost' get that smell every time the bike fires up. The oil tank is filled with castrol TTS, the tank is filled with sheel v-power and the two stroke engine kicks out a lovely smell .
March 19, 200915 yr I put 50ml in a full tank on my LC aswell as TTS in the autolube, the R overrides the TTs and smells lovely.
