Hi,

I am fairly new to bikes. I wanted to know if anyone could tell me what the tubes are underneath the YZF R125.

I can see the tubes are in the owners manual (pg 6) and located under "Cowling C" however can anyone let me know what they are used for.

I have a small, very small amount of fluid coming out of the tube but only when the bike is stationary and turned off for a while, its hardly noticeable however there is a small amount of fluid on the floor. The bike is fairly new.

Any help/info appreciated.

just a wild stab in the dark...

... battery vent pipe?, maybe dropping a little bit of acid due to overfilling or through general use?

take the cowling off and follow the pipe up into the bike and let us know if/what it is attached to

Just getting back on this.., the pipe was the battery vent pipe, it is now secured in its correct location.

The small leak was fixed at the dealership quickly, free :)

my advice is good but a bit abrupt, its like getting a brick thrown through your window then finding a birthday card with gift vouchers attached
