June 13, 200420 yr You don't want track tuition Yammie.....you need to get road experience and help from advanced instructors. Road and track cornering are two different things....if you start applying track cornering to roads, you'll be in trouble. Like I said....road experience is what you need. Nothing fast or risky....forget about speed.....and work on being smooth.
June 13, 200420 yr Author they sold it to me as cornering experience in a safe enviroment!! its not racing round the track i will have someone following me picking on my faults

June 13, 200420 yr They want your money Yammie. Riding round a flat, smooth track is not going to help you deal with traffic situations in the real world. Road training is what you need. It's early days, you need to develop slowly. The most important part is being safe....not fast cornering. If you don't feel confident on right handers, then slow down and get some experience in real world conditions.
June 13, 200420 yr Author doing a bank shift on an orthopedic ward tomorrow i wonder how many bikers there this week!!!
June 13, 200420 yr This is the time of the year when bad things happen. They don't have to happen....but some people choose to put themselves at risk. Usually sportsbikes I'm afraid.
June 13, 200420 yr Moderator why not just go down the gears and drive thru the corner instead of dragging the clutch, covering the rear as you go
June 13, 200420 yr so even when i do ask for sensible advice id ont get it  sorry, pete's covered it all though
June 13, 200420 yr Author this is when im in first or second gear either pulling out of juctions or tight right handers
