Pete Posted June 13, 2004 Share Posted June 13, 2004 Me and the wife went from Llandrindod to Mallards Pike Lake in the Forest of Dean. Planned to meet up with a few guys from the Cardiff area there, but ended up stopping at Black Mountain Yamaha on the way down and got caught up watching the first Superbike race cos Haga was on song. So I ended up missing them. Heading back towards Monmouth we came across about 150 bikes coming the other way with a Police escort. Amazing sight....reminiscent of the 70's Golden Era! Went back home via Hereford, so a nice 150 mile trip....and the XT is really beginning to loosen up now. 900 miles in less than a month. So where did you lot go? Marred a bit when I got back and found that one of the group I was supposed to meet had had a serious accident on his Hayabusa today.
