mikes6084
i was reading through the manual and it says it should have around 200v at idle and i was thinking that since it is making 200v while kicking that maybe the stator isn't producing enough amps to fire the coil at slow speeds. let me know if that sounds possible
mikes6084
finally it starts!!!!!!!!!! i found a stator from an 84 klr65o for $25 shipped. then i took it to work opened up the id a little bit then threw it on the mill and drilled the four mounting hols in the right spot bolted it up and the first kick let out a tremendously loud back fire. think a 12 gauge shot gun in a bed room next kick it fired right up. thanks for everybody's help
