Moderator Airhead Posted February 25, 2009 Moderator Share Posted February 25, 2009 Hi Morten and welcome to the YOC, you may be able to get some new parts still, try your yamaha dealer or any dealers in your country that offer a spares service for classic Yamaha bikes, we in the UK have dealers such as Fowlers or Granby to name a couple, in the USA there is Bike Bandit Here Bear in mind that it may be difficult to source parts for this bike. Why not pop along to the Bar and introduce yourself, theyre a friendly bunch here.

chrisp
Hi, nice looking project you have there. I have a 1973 DT3 model which is somewhat different. You should join yamahaenduro.com http://64.234.201.42/yamahaforum/index.php It's a US based website full of very enthusiastic owners, and a good source of info and spares. Two dealers i use are http://216.168.60.165/speedandsportinc/index.tpl http://www.nwvintagecycleparts.com/ These two have an amazing array of parts, though can be very expensive. Do a worldwide search on ebay for the best results normally 150 plus pages. Good luck with the restoration!
