Posted February 23, 200916 yr Hello all - quick question: Is the alternator/generator integral to the engine of a 2002 R6, or external? I'm pretty sure it's knackered, but along with a whole host of other electrical problems (which are about to be sorted) it needs doing first. I'm just not sure if the alternator is inside the engine or bolted on. I think it's bolted on, but it keeps being called different things! Many thanks
