Posted February 22, 200916 yr The rims on the 86 1200 I just bought are painted. Is there a way to strip the paint without taking the rim off the bike? I know it would be easier if they was off but I have so many other projects going on this bike. I am wondering if some type of paint stripper would work or will that hurt the rims? Thanks.
