Help needed, I have a 2001 DTR French import with power valve servo fitted.......i have used the info from the web site but it won't go past 60mph or 7k rpm. I have taken out and taped up the red switch but it made no difference!. I have a full DEP system fitted...any ideas??

are the electrics the same setup as what yamaha put on the later dt's?

ie: servo closes the powervalve at 7500rpm and makes the bike lose power when you change up gear?

I have a 2006 DT125X and i managed to get the powervalve to stay open all the time the throttle is wound back and now ot's a lot more nippy.

Let me know what the deal is and i might be able t help you out a bit
