groutja Posted February 21, 2009 Share Posted February 21, 2009 Help needed, I have a 2001 DTR French import with power valve servo fitted.......i have used the info from the web site but it won't go past 60mph or 7k rpm. I have taken out and taped up the red switch but it made no difference!. I have a full DEP system fitted...any ideas?? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SupermoTom Posted February 21, 2009 Share Posted February 21, 2009 are the electrics the same setup as what yamaha put on the later dt's? ie: servo closes the powervalve at 7500rpm and makes the bike lose power when you change up gear? I have a 2006 DT125X and i managed to get the powervalve to stay open all the time the throttle is wound back and now ot's a lot more nippy.
