The dry, warm weather that set in during May 1975 over much of England and Wales was followed by dominant warm, dry, sunny weather throughout that summer and led to the development of large soil moisture deficits by the end of August.

And wot about them twa auld buggers arguing about the year, [ old git + drew-p] Like compo+ foggy last o" the summer whines 1976 was 77degrees near every day in the summer , had DT 175 White tank " but was black wi them corn lice .Aye those were the days , oops am begining to sound like them twa foggys
