r6 wheel fitment

Hi there, the discs definitely are different from 03 onwards but i think the front axles are the same, at least upto 05 as they still use convential forks cause 06+ have USD's. the rear axles are different, i did want to upgrade to the newer wheels on my 2000 R6 but i didnt want to go through it all that hassle. Im not 100% sure on all this but i don't think its worth pursueing! I decided to wait n get ally Dymag wheels instead

Wheels from 1998-2004 will fit any R6 from those years.

In 2005, the front wheel spindle diameter and rim width changed (due to changing from a 60 to a 70 profile tyre - the change is only a couple of mm), along with the forks.. Also, the rear wheel changed spindle diameter.

A further change was made for the 2008 bike.

So far, there are three different 'sets' - 1998-2004, 2005-2007 and 2008-present.
