Narthecius
Hi there first post on the forum! I have literally just bought an SR125 (1998) from ebay which needs a bit of work doing to it. It might sound silly but as I will need to collect the bike with my dads van and it is my first bike I was wondering if there is any specific tools I will need to remove the front wheel as I am not sure it will fit unless I remove it! I've got spanners and ratchet sets etc was just wondering about the brakes in particular. Last question which haynes manual would be suitable for the bike as I am used to car haynes manuals (model specific) but I am aware sometimes bike manuals can cover a few vehicles. Thanks very much guys sorry if I sound so inexperienced it's my first venture into motorcycle mechanics!
Lazlo Woodbine
Picked up one of these about a month ago. Not had any reason to dismantle it yet, but Haynes do make a model specific manual for it: Manual Assuming you've got a disc brake model, removal of the wheel looks straightforward enough, no special tools, just make sure the speedo drive unit's refitted OK.
