wild foamy
Hi everyone. the new Jawa 350 i bought doesn't have a V5c, and my dad has told me that if i get a reciept with the bike explaining that the documents weren't found when the bike was sold and that it was boguht from a deceased estate (i.e. it belonged to the dad of the bloke i bought it off) then i would not have to pay the £25 fee for a new V5C is this correct?, if so how do i apply for a V5C under these terms? regards Steve

Gas up - Let's Go!
Steve, It's all here: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/Buyin...hicle/index.htm You need to fill in a V62, you can print these out from the web - best to go into a DVLA office if you can, they are usually a bit more human that the call centre folk. wild foamy
i got the V62 Form downloaded and just need to fill in the VIN and Registration number before sending it off, have requested a reciept from the seller which i will photocopy and include with the V62 explaining that it was bought form a deceased estate and no documents were present at the time of sale
