Hello,

I am restoring a Yamaha XS250 SE Special. When I stripped the engine I discovered 2 valves were bent and one of the valve guides was damaged. Can anyone tell me where I can purchase valve guides and valves or does anyone know for a bike that is being broken and the head might be available.

Any helps would be much appreciated..

how about main yamaha dealers in the UK

any machine shop will put new guides in as they are standard parts and will need to be reamed to fit the valve.

get the valves from motoward, granbys, fosters motomax in UK, the valves should still be listed.

part # 1mo-12111-00 inlet

part # 1mo-12121-01 exhaust

when you get your valves take em to the machine shop to get the guides done.
