simondlh Posted February 10, 2009 Share Posted February 10, 2009 Hi all Just got myself a 1991 DT, it's just had a service inc engine rebuild and when I ride around and then stop at the lights I notice a really strong smell of petrol, more so when the tank is full and the bottom of my trousers stink of it. Would this be due to a petrol tank overflow pipe? Or would it be over-fuelling in the carb and an overflow pipe releasing the excess? Could it be coming out of the exhaust manifold?
