Posted February 9, 200916 yr Good afternoon all, I have just brought a YZF 1000 in bits and am trying to restore it or at least get it road worthy. After a couple of days trying to get her going she fired up lovely on Saturday, links below of recording: http://www.youtube.com/chalky91 However, the bike won’t move after selecting a gear. The clutch makes a noise when suppressed for about 30 seconds. Selecting gear is fine, but the bike just wont move after clutch released. Have tried bleeding the clutch cylinder and have also replaced the friction plates a few days ago. Help please.....is there a magic handbrake I need to release? Regards, Chalky
