seca2ya
hey folks, I've been reading up on rubber and there are so many choices that its almost impossible to narrow anything down. Maybe you folks with Seca's and Diversions can help me out. I do a lot of touring in the area (San Diego) and of course the bike is my transportation to and from work. I need something that a little sticky, but wears well. What do you recommend, what have you used, what do you abhor? Thanks ahead of time.
Moderator YamaHead Posted February 5, 2009 Moderator Share Posted February 5, 2009 I used to run Metzeler's on my Seca's......until I found that Dunlop's have better feedback, wear just as long & cost less.

I'm actually looking at a set of Michelin Pilot 2Ct...but it might be more tire than I actually need. thanks for the tips though. I know with my car I had a set of Dunlops that kicked ass. seca2ya
well, they don't make the 2CT in my size. I'm running these right now: bridgestone battlax bt45's
Moderator YamaHead Posted February 6, 2009 Moderator Share Posted February 6, 2009 Those BT45's are an excellent alternative! 1 of the few tires left that fit RD's
mant0142
I just put on a new Avon rear tire a few weeks ago and it rides really nice. No saying what the wear is like but it's definitely a softer tire.

I'm running these right now: I'm running my 02 Divvy on these, excellent feedback and plenty of range - can't fault them bridgestone battlax bt45's
