Whats the procedure for cleaning the carbs on a 2000 v-star?

    Remove carb unit.

    Take to a clean workspace.

    Open carb up.

    Clean out using carb cleaner spray and clean cloths.

    Reassemble.

    Refit.

    There are service manuals (both workshop and Haynes/Clymer) knocking about on the web for free PDF download.
