hi

my dt125x 07 is making a funny nosie like a grinding nosie from the motor

it's sounds fine when i start it and runs like a dream with no smoke

but when i am going along at eny speed and eny gear when i come of the revs

and pull in the clutch so im rolling along there is a on and off grinding nosie from the motor

eny one now ?

Unless it's particularly loud, I wouldn't worry.

Most bikes make different noises when the clutch is pulled in.

I imagine it's the engine blasting off as it's suddenly got no load, ie you've removed the drive train.

Check and lube your chain, there's a good chance with all this crud around that its coming from there.

Check and adjust chain slack as per spec for your bike, and give the chain a good lube

Definitely sounds like the chain could be your culprit.

had this problem myself mate, make sure your chains not too slack and give it a good clean and lube.

Mine barely makes a noise now.
