ybr125 timing marks

do you have a haynes manual?, if not tis a good idea to get one as it will include all details and walkthroughs of timing and valves e.t.c

timing marks should be on the cam gears, usually two dots on each gear that line up. only four stroke ive ever reset the timing on was a Honda GX250 Generating set, turned out a valve had dropped off inside the cylinder :o

I don't think there is a Haynes manual available yet for the YBR but I'd agree they're handy to have. Not brilliant but for many jobs they're fine.

Valve clearances (assuming you mean the cam to valve stem clearances and not any of the other measurements such as the valve guide to body clearances):

Measured cold with piston at TDC on the compression stroke:

Inlet 0.08mm to 0.12mm

Exhaust 0.10 mm to 0.14mm
