Posted January 23, 200916 yr hi all finished stripping the engine down on the 1000exup last nite and can happily report no major wear / damage so sent the head off this morning to get gas flowed and have ordered new highlift cams with adjustable pulleys , uprated clutch, 1040 bigbore kit with race spec head gasket plus the rest of the bits needed so hope fully its gona be a beast when it finished also managed to pick up a set of 41mm flatsides of a matey quite cheaply ......result golfdub
