FIRST I'D LIKE TO SAY I'VE RIDDEN OVER 30 YEARS AND HAD MANY BRANDS OF MOTORCYCLES.

I PURCHASED THIS (RSTD) A FEW MONTHS AGO.IT IS KIND OF HEAVY BUT DOES HANDLE WELL ONCE ROLLING.THE FACTORY PLUGS WERE NEVER IN ALL THE WAY TO THE HEADS MY THOUGHTS ARE THEY WERE PUT IN WITH A REGULAR SOCKET BUT YOU NEED A THIN WALL SOCKET TO DRIVE THE PLUGS ALL THE WAY TO THE HEADS.I CHANGED THE OIL AND FILTER(OIL IS 20-50 CASTROL AND THE FILTER IS A PURLATOR THAT FITS VTX ,WINGS BY THE LONGER ONE ).PULL OUT THE FACTORY PLUGS( THERE CHEAP)PUT IN NGK.I WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE TAIL LIGHT SO I ADDED SOME RED LED'S STRIPS ON THE CHROME FENDER SUPPORTS AND CONNECTED THEM UNDER THE DRIVERS SEAT.I CHECKED THE 2 AIR FILTERS AND CLEANED THEM.REMEBER YOU MUST TAKE OFF THE RADIATOR FAIRING IT CLIPS TOGETHER ON THE BOTTOM SEAM GO EASY OR IT WILL BREAK,TAKE OFF THE RIGHT SIDE FIRST(RIGHT SIDE WHILE SITTING ON THE BIKE).PULL THE 3 SIDE COVERS (2 SIDES AND CENTER PANEL)IN THERE ARE ALL THE HOSES)REMOVE THE FUEL PUMP AND MARK THE HOSES FOLLOW THE BOTTOM ONE BACK AND YOU'LL FIND THE FUEL FILTER.

THE BIKE IS A JOY TO RIDE AND WORK ON,I DON'T EVEN MIND PAYING FOR IT

Can i also ask you not to post in capitals too - its a little hard on the eyes and is considered "shouting" in a forum.
