Hi could anyone tell me if the YZF750R 1995 link pipe is seperate from the exhaust can or is it a one piece thing.

Also what is the diameter (hole size) of the end can to link pipe if it has one.

Thanks

If you have a standard OE can, it will be a bolt on affair with three bolts.

If aftermarket, it may also be bolt on but it may also be slip on, in which case there should be a telltale sign of two springs holding it together.

The link pipe O/D, if memory serves me correctly, is about 54-58mm. Not having one in the workshop at the moment, I cannot double check.

Thanks for the info, will let you know, all I know so far is that it has a carbon fibre end can (not just covered by some idiot.

Havent got the bike for another few weeks so I was trying to get the parts before I got it.

Also is there a way that I could fit a different rear section to this bike like the R1 or change the rear tail lights to clear ones?

Thanks

You must be thinking of the Thunderace end can, which has 3 bolts, the YZF750 standard can is NOT a 3 bolt fitment, the end can and link pipe are one piece, the link pipe is a 50mm slip on fitment.

The R1 or R6 rear seat unit is a common swap on the YZF750.

You will need the seat panel, seats and subframe.

If you look on the Exup1000 site, there are a few pics of this done.

I`m about to do the R6 rear end swap on mine shortly.

My bad, I looked at mine before I posted.

Mine has a bolt on race system.

Doh!
