I have a 1975 Yamaha mx 400. The handlebars that were on it when i bought it are from a much smaller bike. Im trying to find out the width and rise of the factory bars. There is a motorcycle salvage yard nearby with unmarked vintage bars. I'm trying to find the right bars or something very close to factory size. There is some nice bars from a 78 Yamaha dt 175 that are in good condition but im not sure if they are close in size. Help me guys

Where are they available? They are not Yamaha bars right?

You can get the bars from Yamaha and many others, stay out of the bone yard for handlebars.

Yeah I found that site before. Cool site but they dont have the Yamaha bars. Just some renthal vintage bend bars

Are you looking for NOS Yamaha bars or a suitable replacement, If you want NOS I can find you some but if you are not restoring the bike I don't think they will be worth the price. The bars you are looking were used on the DT2 MX, RT2 MX, Both SC500 Models, YZ, 100,125, MX 125 C Models,MX 250 A, MX 360 A or you can have a set made and chromed for $250.

yeah those arent bad. cant tell if theyre bent or not though. bars from AMS are 70$ plus shipping

Just send the seller a question and ask him if they are straight or not. Most all sellers want to make sure they have good feedback. If you are not going to bid on them I may go after them.
