Hi all, I've got an 81 RD125DX that has spoke wheels at the mo. Bought a set of alloys also off a RD125DX not sure what year.Is it a straight forward swap?, or are adjustments necessary? Thanks.

Not sure mate, closest I had to the dx was the RD 400

Google it, bound to find something somewhere,

Or you could e-mail one of the top bike mags, Fastbikes/superbike mag/performance bikes.

the bike is very old in comparison to what they write about but one of them should have the answer

Or you could contact your local dealer.

What i would do is fit them, you'll soon know if it's a no go

just try it.

make sure the brake disks line up and the sprocket/chain is straight with the rear.

another good idea would be to check the wheel bearings have the same numbers as this will indicate that the axle will fit

drewps
