Posted December 26, 200816 yr I have a '77 DT400 that needs a new reed valve. I found and bought one for a '78 model (Have not received it yet) According to a Yamaha web site the '77 & '78 have different part #'s.I'm replacing the cage and reed assembly. Both are four reed set-ups though. My question is should this one for the '78 work in the '77. Thanks for any help.
