May 28, 200420 yr Author id imagine road tyres would look a bit naff on DT, i was looking for some road biast dual purposes... i found these avon things, not the gripsters its like distanzia or some crap and they look meaty but put a lot of rubber down at the same time...
May 29, 200420 yr proper roadf tyres looked smart on my bike i thought they were better at everything if u are not going to use it off road then i would put proper grippy road tyres on it and it will be like driving a different machine
May 29, 200420 yr yep mozzy i agree with you mate. if you can get them put the most road like tyres on it, they will look fine and perform alot better than the trail style items
May 29, 200420 yr Admin Yep totally agree with you, i used to get eaten up by scooters on the twisties as i had motorcross tyres on mine
May 29, 200420 yr Author cool, i think i might just do that then it might look a bit odd though, trailie with road tyres but me dad said it would be the best thing to do, dont have too much confidence in trailwings :? it would be nice to have grip... mozz got any good road tyres that i might be able to get?or anyone?? i dont know much about road tyres
May 29, 200420 yr I got the Tourances on the XT....just scrubbing them in at the moment. But much more positive steering with them compared to the Trailwings.
