Does anyone know where I can get a cdi stator coil for a 1983 yamaha DT100. Mine is completely bad and I couldn't find anything on ebay. I picked up the bike for $100 not running and I'm working my way through the problems. As an alternate does anyone know what the voltage is that comes from the cdi stator coil. Maybe I can build a circuit to supply the necessary voltage from the battery.

If your not worried about lights a points CDI is pretty easy to hook up. These are more readily available. I had the same problem with a DT400.

Check bikebandit.com. They have a huge inventory of parts, and I think that they would have a ton of part for that bike. It is also really easy to use and all of the parts are OEM directly from Yamaha.
