Ok query time.... [FZR 600 '91 Genesis]

I'm new to riding a big bike so just need some info.

I find and the fathyer in law found that when riding slow the bike tends to chug in higher gears, if I put it in a lower gear then i'm just killing the petrol. If I stay in a high gear I find myself riding the clutch.

Anyone got any tips? I'm scared to keep riding the clutch in case I wear it out quicker and don't want to keep topping up every other day because I'm sitting in a lower gear.

Thanks

Youre right about riding the clutch, dont do it, you'll wear it out or cook it! The bike should be smooth and if it isnt , then perhaps the carbs may need to be balanced.

Definitely sounds like a Carb-Synch issue.
