Posted December 12, 200816 yr brother-inlaw has an sr250 with ignition problems. bike was running but cut out and would run intermitently. new coil fitted, plug,all connections checked,has been told now it is the pick up coil. is there any way of testing them and would a pick up from another yamaha model fit it? he lives 200 miles away and i cant get the bike to my shed to check it out. any help much appreciated. thanks
